Tour type: Beach Tour
The culture of ancient mysterious India is very similar to the culture of Ancient Russia (and the Old Russian language originates from the Indo-European branch), which may be why our people always had great sympathy and interest for India (even in Soviet times), and now that all the barriers removed, and Russia recovered a bit after the devastation and crises, a wave of tourists surged into exploring this amazing wonderful country.
The territory of India resembles a triangle and is washed by oceans and season both sides, and when blizzards rage and frosts rage here, the most wonderful weather for a beach holiday is here. Many beaches in India are recognized as one of the best in the world.
North and South Goa, Kerala, the Andaman and Lakshadweep Islands, Orissa are visited by more and more Russian tourists every year, in hotels and restaurants, there are more and more signboards in Russian and in the menu of Russian dishes. This is especially true for Goa since this wonderful corner of the Earth was opened to the world in the sixties of the last century.
The beaches in Goa have a diverse coastal nature, bustle or silence, whiter and softer sand or less, but they are all washed with azure clear waters, and all give a wonderful vacation, and local mini-restaurants (necks), shops and markets on the coast— delicious food and exotic souvenirs. A lot of charter flights come here. There are no problems with accommodation in Goa either: cheap bungalows on the beaches, mini-hotels, villas of different categories, large hotels with different numbers of stars – all will gladly open their doors for you. True, better seats and at a good price are better to book in advance.
Many excursions will help make the rest even more interesting and informative: you can visit the legendary Hampi and Small Tibet, the place of Lord Shiva Gokarna and the self-appointed beach of Om, near the beautiful Duth Sagar waterfall and tropical spices plantation, visit the ancient famous Catholic temples and Hindu, admire the crocodiles in the mangroves and get a pleasant boost of energy and a dose of adrenaline, going to rafting on a mountain river or with a group of climbers, visit the best beaches of Goa and buy a lot gifts in the night and day markets.
Kerala is just starting to gain in the number of its fans (fewer charters fly here), but the fame of its beaches (especially Varkala and Kovalam) and its magnificent Ayurvedic healing and treatment, beautiful green hills and houseboats are quickly spreading around the world.
