Itinerary
Day 1, Mumbai
Welcome to India, you will be received by Explore Tourismo representative and transfer to the Hotel. After freshen-up visit Hanging gardens, Crawford market, Marine Drive etc. In the evening do some shopping. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2, Mumbai
Today after breakfast city tour of Bombay - the great port city with its Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes Gateway of India overlooking the Harbor, the, the Towers of Silence and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3, Mumbai- Srinagar
After breakfast depart from Mumbai by flight for Srinagar. Assistance on arrival and transfer to houseboats. After Check in on houseboat, later enjoy Shikhara ride on Dal Lake and also visit to floating/ vegetable gardens, Nehru Place, Char Chinar etc. Return back to houseboat and overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 4, Srinagar
After early breakfast ready to see the famous Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Gardens and the Cheshma Shahi (The Royal Spring) built by Shah Jahan in 1636 AD, Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) laid out by Jahangir for his beloved Noor Jahan in 1632 AD. After lunch visit for sightseeing of Srinagar City visiting the Hari Parbat Fort, Jama Masjid (the Great Mosque built in 1313 AD) the old bazaar on the banks of the Jhelum and the Shah Hamdan Shrine.Dinner and overnight stay on Houseboats.
Day 5, Srinagar- Sonamarg- Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh . In the evening return to Srinagar and Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6, Srinagar- Gulmarg
After breakfast drive to Gulmarg. It was discovered as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century and but also discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers.Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. One can have Gondola ride (cable car directly payable) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg . Overnight in hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 7, Gulmarg- Pahalgam
After breakfast at the hotel, drive back from Gulmarg to Pahalgam, en-route visit Saffron fields of Pampora, see the beautiful countryside, lots of rice fields and Awantipura ruins on the way.Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam
Day 8 Pahalgam
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to sightseeing ,Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) – It is a resort set in a pristine village lying next to the Lidder River. It is situated at an altitude of 2,130 m above sea level and has a golf course at 2400 meters above the sea level. The nearby forested slopes are home to the Himalayan brown bear. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Pahalgam is also famous for its alpine treks, nature walk and is also the central point of Amaranth Yatra. After having your lunch , have bridle walks and take out your cameras and click the pictures of magnificent view of mountains. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 9, Srinagar- Mumbai
Today after Breakfast get driven to srinagar airport to board your Flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to pre-booked Hotel. Afternoon visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, Dargah Haji Ali. Come back and the evening will be for leisure activities and shopping. Stay overnight at the hotel
Day 10, Mumbai Departure
Today morning enjoy your leisurely breakfast at the hotel and later timely transfer to the Mumbai airport to board the flight for your onward journey to home. Our tour services will end here but sweet memories of this tour remain forever in your heart.
