Day 1: Paro Airport to Thimphu
On your arrival at airport meet and greet by our representative,later drive to Thimphu (Alt 8979Ft / 2736M) the modern capital town of Bhutan. Check in at Hotel. Evening at leisure overnight at Thimphu.
Day 2: Full Day city tour of Thimphu.
Visit Tashichhodzong, BBS Tower, Government Run Handicraft Emporium, National Memorial Chorten, Buddha View Point, Folk heritage, National Textile Museums, National Institute of Traditional Medicine (out side view) and Zoo. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast checkout and drive over Dochu-la Pass to reach Punakhaand check in to Hotel. After lunch proceed for sightseeing visit Punakha Dzong, was strategically built at the confluence of the Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) rivers by the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel in 1637. Overnight stay at Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha to Paro
After breakfast Checkout from hotel and drive to Paro(Alt 7300 ft/2230M) En-route visit Simtokha Dzong, This dzong, built in 1627, is the oldest in Bhutan. Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 5: Full day city tour
After breakfast at hotel, This day you will visit the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, 18 km. from Paro town on the north side of the valley, Also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the kingdom. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6: Taksang Monastery (Taktsang Lhakang/Tiger Nest)
After breakfast drive to SatsamChorten (10 Km from Paro) and from there walk or take a pony ride (4.5 hrs Round hike) to reach the Monastery. Walkers can enjoy a rest at the Taktsang Teahouse situated at a wonderful vantage point overlooking the monastery. On clear days you can get a clear view of mount Chomolhari the sacred peak of Bhutan. On the way, visit the 7th-century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo. The building of this temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. Return back to Paro. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 7: Paro Departure
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Airport to board flight to onward destination.
