The full name of this place is Jim Corbett National Park which is situated in the foothills of Kumaon region. Corbett Park is known as the land of Tiger. The Park is spread in around 1320 sq.km. Corbett National Park is one of India’s largest national parks as it has a tiger population of around 160. Apart from Tiger many other wild animals found over there like Cheetal, Barking Deer, Elephant, Crocodile, Indian Langoor, Wild Pig, Jackle, bear, etc. The park is considered one of the best bird-watching areas in India also, with some 500 species having been sighted over here. The Ramganga river and flora & fauna make the park much more beautiful. The nearest airport is Pant Nagar & Ramnagar is the nearest railway station to visit Corbett Park.
